It’s day three of our four-week school closure and we continue to receive many questions from parents and students each day. We are doing our best to get you the answers to these questions, but some of them simply can’t be answered at this time. We will continue monitoring this situation and share all pertinent information with our families in a timely manner.
  1. Will the district be providing any student meals while school is closed?
YES! Western Dubuque Schools will be offering 2 locations for breakfast and lunch curbside pick-up during the COVID-19 unexpected school closure. Breakfast (pick up for the next day) and lunch meals will be available Monday-Friday from 11:30 am-12:30 pm at the locations below, effective tomorrow, Thursday, March 19. Meals are being provided free to feed the children in our community. To help alleviate any congregate gatherings, we ask that parents be the one to pick up the meals, preferably in a vehicle, however no child will be turned away if no parent is available to pick up meals for them. Again, these meals are available for children. Each menu will be composed daily to offer the best product we have available to us at that time. To see what is being offered please follow us on Facebook where daily menus will be posted by 8 am each morning, or find it under our Facebook feed section on the homepage of our district’s website. You may contact Clif Cameron with any questions about this program at 563-744-3885 ext 6041 or [email protected].
